Dinner, dancing, costume contest, 50/50 drawing, door prizes and BYOB. Must be 21. Featuring The Dennis McClung Blues Band and DJ Ed Morrison. The doors open at 6:00. Dinner by Gourmet Catering at 6:30. Dancing until 11:00. Tickets are $25 per person- $30 after Oct. 7. Tickets can be purchased at the Harrison County Senior Center or by calling 304-439-8861.

| Horcrux Scavenger Hunt |

Do you love Harry Potter? Enjoy solving mysteries? Need to get in some more exercise and steps? Want bragging rights with your friends, family and co-workers?
Then come join the most amazing scavenger hunt ever!
The Horcrux Scavenger Hunt will send you on a journey to solve clues and find the hidden horcruxes around the Hazel Ruby McQuain Amphitheater and trail areas [no need to cross any roads during the hunt]. You will also have other related items on your list to find, and some bonus points you can earn through some crazy activities. The idea is to have fun, get in a little walking, and see who is up for the challenge! We will be raising money for a nonprofit that helps empower teen girls and women, and we will also be doing some good around the community while we have fun.
There will also be a Hogwart's Costume Contest [$5 entry] with prizes and a Pumpkin Contest [$5 entry] with prizes for those who want to participate. Come dressed as your favorite character, and bring an already carved pumpkin if you want to participate in the Pumpkin Contest [costumes and pumpkins not necessary to participate in Scavenger Hunt]. These contests will happen right before the Scavenger Hunt begins. Our special judges, Adam Etris and Mike Susa of the "That Wasn't Bad" podcast will select our winners, and then we're off for the Scavenger Hunt! And we have a few surprises in store!
WHAT TO DO:
1) Register as individuals, and then put together a team! Give your team a name. You just register here as individuals, and as you check in that night at the event, you can tell us what team you are on. [we recommend 6 or less people on a team to make it manageable; but no hard and fast rules on that]
2) Invite all your friends and all their friends...and maybe those Facebook "friends" that seem super cool but you don't actually know that well.
3) Raise money that will change lives, right here in West Virginia. [watch for emails about this easy way to earn extra points]
4) HAVE A BLAST, and try to WIN!
SCAVENGER HUNT PRIZES:
1st place Team: Restaurant and Starbucks Gift card, plus a remote control wand for EACH team member!
2nd place: Restaurant Gift card for each team member
3rd Place: Starbucks Gift card for each team member

Scroll to the bottom and click on "add participant." Then set up your TEAM NAME [don't set up as an individual] and start sharing the fundraiser on Facebook, Twitter, and via email. There are buttons to do so. Try to raise $100 for Libera to earn extra points for your team at the Scavenger Hunt!
SCHEDULE:
There will be Food and Drink at the end for all Scavenger Hunt participants with wristbands, including Butter Beer! Swag bags for every participant.
Parking: there is very limited parking at the amphitheater, but there are two parking garages right along the trail: Wharf Street Garage and Waterfront Place Garage. Plan to park in these.
Registration 3:30-4:30pm
Costume and Pumpkin judging 4:30pm
Horcux scavenger Hunt 5pm-7:30pm
Food and Butter Beer while judges tally totals and announce winners-7:30pm-8pm
Children are welcome, but there will be a fair amount of walking involved. Children under 5 are free.
RULES: [we wouldn't want you to be disqualified!]
Teams will be required to take a number of photos during the Hunt to win points. Make sure your team has a couple of fully charged phones with you to take photos to show the judges.
Remember no cars, bikes, skates, scooters, or other transportation allowed during the Hunt. Wheelchairs and other mobility devices are permitted. If you have a disability and require any additional accommodations, please reach out to liberawv@gmail.com so we can make sure you have access to everything you need.
Even though your dog is the cutest dog on the planet, he's not allowed at The Horcrux Scavenger Hunt (this goes for all pets). Service animals only.
Each member of your team needs to check in individually where they will be given a wristband and a bag of goodies. You must wear your wristband during the event.
Only team members who are checked in by 5:00pm will be able to compete. If you are running late, we invite you to join us for the wrap-up food and drinks at 7:30pm (you'll still get your bag of goodies and enjoy your free food and butter beer).
All team members need to be present for the duration of the hunt (5:00pm-7:30pm) so that they appear in all photos. Only teams with the same members present in all photos are eligible for prizes! You must be present when prizes are announced at 8:00pm to win.
Anyone caught defacing property, hampering other teams, or destroying or removing horcruxes will be disqualified.
All judges decisions on winners will be final. Judges will check photos and scores and announce winners after scores are confirmed.
